That is indeed a good question. We know that at least 2600 of them have already been preordered and quite fast!

Not familiar with how the software development model works for the Amico. Does Amico charge a royalty per software copy sold like the console manufacturers do? That would help to subsidize and recoup costs on the hardware.

All I have heard Tommy speak of is the developer software is freely available. I don't know anything else.
