I do not have a Wii U but thought about it for the 3DS. I have seen mixed reviews but it seems like a step in the right direction for Nintendo.

I had purchased the two Remix titles as downloads separately, before Nintendo combined them into a single disc/cartridge. There is a noticeable difference between them. The first one featured the earlier titles and had better challenges. The second one had the cooler games from later on, but the challenges were a little more mediocre.
I'm surprised at how poorly I did at the reverse SMB. Probably because you were now Luigi with his agility as distinct from Mario, which I wasn't used to.
