Nexus 7 Tablet

Figured I would add a thread about the Nexus 7 tablet. I don't have one (I have a Transformer Prime) but this is certainly a great tablet and one that has been selling out rather quickly. Google sure did a good job working with ASUS on this one. Here is a review: Nexus 7 Review

Smart looking device!

Looks like Google will be releasing a 32GB version of this tablet soon. About time! I know they are trying to keep the price low but storage can be an issue with anything below 32GB.

It is funny because 32GB sounds like a lot.

You'd be surprised! I have 32 GB on my Transformer Prime and it is almost full!

I can see more folks using these more than laptop or desktop computers. Space could go rather quickly then?

It can. You have to remember that as apps get more complicated they take more space. This is particularly true with games. I unistalled several games and freed up 5 GB of storage!

WOW! I am stuck in a retro state of mind. I still see games as 4, 8 or 32k. lol

LOL A new game was released yesterday that is 1GB in size for Android devices! Imagine if you have an 8 GB device that is almost full already. That's a lot of space!

Yes, that does not leave much room. Very good example.

Rumor has it that next week Google will be announcing a 10" version of their tablet that will have even higher resolution than the iPad, along with a new Nexus phone. I'm eagerly waiting as I want to upgrade to a Nexus phone when I am due.
