Laserdiscs

I come across the players and even movies occasionally at Goodwills and have always passed, mostly because I already have a substantial VHS and DVD collection, along with the clutter factor. Am I missing anything here? Obviously, most of the movies that saw LD release were from the 70's and early 80's, and I also cannot think of any must-have titles from that era. So, should I kick myself for passing on these, or be thankful I made a wise choice?

I think you made the wise choice. They really had a wow factor when they came out but then the cost was more then most could afford.

There were some models that had expansions to play Genesis/Sega CD and PC Engine games. Now that would be cool to find.
