What are your favorite arcade games?

If I had a choice it would be Popeye, Elevator Action, or Silk Worm. But there are so many to choose from..

A REALLY tough question. I will have all in my top 25 some day. Even if I have to build them from the ground up. Some of them would be impossible to find even if I lived in the "milk" states.

What about getting a Multicade? Ive been thinking of getting one, it would save time and space. Although a huge arcade would be cool!

They do have their place I do have some pointers on them but I have to hit the rack tonite. Let me get back to you tomorrow. Remind me in case I forget.

Darius has come out on every console from SNES to Saturn to PS2, but the original arcade cab with its three side-by-side screens video was awesome to behold.

I would like to add RallyX and SeaWolf!

RallyX is fun. I've played that on my PSP. I've never played SeaWolf, though.

Seawolf is an ancient arcade game by Sega, I believe. Only thing I remember about seeing it at my arcade was that you looked into a periscope-type viewer to play, sort of similar to the viewer you had to place your face into with arcade Battlezone.

Looks like a cool game! Certainly one nice looking arcade console!

If I remember correctly, it is a vector graphics based game.

I looked at a video on YouTube and it did not look like vectors to me. The video wasn't the best, though. It was taken at an angle from the console.

I use to play it at our County Fair. Then I got for my Vic-20 and thought I was in Heaven till I played it on the Commodore 64.

There are apparently two versions of the arcade machine. I also found a picture of a sit-down one. I'm guessing this is a modernization of the original.

It does look like it is the same game, just with more advanced graphics.

Would have enjoyed that as a kid!

The graphics on that sit-down cab are definitely a photoshop job. I do not remember the game looking anything like that.

It isn't a photoshop job. It is a new version of the game. I found a video on YouTube (that I still cannot link to).
