I know. It probably sounds foolish, especially considering the juggernaut that PSX would become. I have been playing some 32X classics the past few days and realized how much games like Metal Head, Tempo, and T-Mek look and play like early Playstation games. If I didn't know different, I would believe Metal Head is being played on Playstation during gameplay. The graphics and sound are of that quality. Considering that both were essentially 32 bit consoles, could 32X have been a strong competitor for Sony? Most likely just imagining, but it certainly would have taken more marketing prowess than Sega ever showed during those years.
