Agreed! We need one in the SE! I've never been able to attend CGE, partly because it is on the West Coast every year.

Try Game Convention Central. While not exclusively a listing of video game conventions, there are a good number of them listed. It's broken down by region and most descriptions show what type(s) of gaming is available at the convention.
