Hey All:

I am polishing up my Intellivision collection and am looking for new, sealed games. I currently have 37 already and would like to try to get as many as I can to make a nice, and as close as I can get to mint as possible. Any help is greatly appreciated!

37 sealed games? Wow, that is impressive. Are you keeping them closed and have lose duplicates for playing?

Yes, I pretty much have "opened" and playable duplicates. I know I'll never be able to get all 125 "sealed", but I'm shooting for at least 50 or even 60 sealed.

Either of ones you have or ones you need.

I haven't compiled my "official" list as of yet. BUT, I am going to very soon. I'll post it here as soon as I can. Thanks for the interest!

That is a nice set of games! Are you saving the extras to sell later? It could be a way to fund your collecting. Smile

That's basically what I've been doing all along. It sure helps! I mean, who really needs four sealed copies of Space Hawk? That list is just of my sealed games. I recently organized all of my INTV games and found numerous doubles and variants that I didn't even know I had!

Oh, I know the feeling on duplictes you didn't know you had! LOL I recently did an inventory of all my games and found several duplicates that I've sold on ebay. Great way to fun getting new games! Smile

Thanks! I just added Big League Baseball the other day to bring the total to 38. Something told me not to unbreak the seal on my Super Cobra a long time ago. I'm glad I didn't, but I still think it would be fun to play on an actual INTV console! I've never played it ever. I feel like I might be missing out! Smile

I think I counted and only 92 of the 125 released in the US were ever shrink-wrapped. The Coleco US were not but versions for Europe were. Towards the end Activision only sealed (Glued the Boxes) their games. INTV releases were never shrink-wrapped but some retailers did wrap them. I'm up to 80 Shrink-Wrapped and plus about 10 NIB. That includes some non US CBS Boxes of Coleco games. Plus a few cool variants like the White Burger Time, Vectron and Mission X. (The White Shark Shark eludes me!) I have to get the photos up. And if anyone has a sealed Popeye, let me know, weird to have, Star Wars, Super Cobra and Tutankhamn, Q-Bert, Frogger but no Popeye.

If retailers shinwrapped the intv games, does that still count as shrinkwrapped?

I think yes with the caveat that it is hard to tell a reseal. I would tend to agree especially if the shrink-wrap would include say a "Toys R Us" or "Radio Shack" or "Kay-Bee Toy's" price sticker. At some point it's best honest guess. I have had some shrink-wrapped games sold to me as new with the price stickers inside the shrink-wrap? I don't consider those new. 40 year old sealed games are bound to show were even if shrink-wrapped. But as far as games "officially" shrink-wrapped, there is a finite number of them…as said mine is higher because I've added shrink-wrapped European versions of all the Coleco Games. But I have Glued Boxes of US released ones, one with the game rattling around inside of it. So it was a re-glue.

I need Popeye,White Water, Truckin', Dracula and Fathom. Plus Sewer Sam an Blockade Runner, I think I have all the others that ever came Shrink-wrapped. I don't have the definitive list of Shrink-wrapped games.

Yeah I need a shrink wrapped Safe Cracker and Pitfall too. I have a glued minty NOS of Pitfall and one sold as new with the price sicker inside the Shrink-wrap. LOL

Is it just me, or is a true sealed intv pitfall hard to find?

I've seen more sealed Tutankhamn's then sealed Pitfalls. I think I've seen 3 in the three years I've been looking. More sealed Worm Whompers. Sealed Happy Trails was surprisingly difficult. I am mostly baffled by Popeye? What the heck! Popeye? It was even released in the U.S.!

I just picked these up today. Bombsquad and Space Spartans sealed in a bundle with the intellivoice. I'm not into sealed games so I'd be willing to trade for loose carts/overlays that I don't already have or I would be willing to sell them outright.

I am up over 100 of the 125. This includes Glued and Sealed Coleco (US) and CBS (European), I have all Activision, Imagic, Mattel and so on. I'm just missing a glued or Shrink Wrapped TRUBO and BLOCKADE RUNNER. Just picked up the Shrink-wrapped Sewer Sam and yes Pitfall was hard to find shrink wrapped, not hard glued.
