Was this a good deal?

I went to a pawn shop today and picked up a 7800 system in original box, but no original packaging materials or manuals. It came with two proline controllers, two pistol-grip 2600 controllers, and a weird light gun I have never seen before. Oh, yeah, it also has the AC adapter. They had $49 list price and I talked them down to $40.

So, did I get ripped?

I don't think so. The console goes for anywhere from $32 to $55 according to Video Game Trader (based on condition, of course) but you also got a light gun and the pistol-grip 2600 controllers. Are you referring to these?



If so, these are the Space Age Controllers for the 2600 and they are rare. They run for about $15 each.

Ya, those are the controllers. You know my affinity for collecting controllers, and I did not have these before.

Also, I am hoping the weird light gun is better aim than my Best light gun. I will try it out in the next day or two and report back.
