Thanks TrekMD! I did not want to overwhelm everyone by putting everything up.

Most of my friends that collect are into the later systems and only have a few classic items. So not much love for the older consoles.

Feeling like the new guy I thought it would be a good way to show others I am comfortable talking about all systems.

I'm in the process of completing an inventory of the games that I have for all my systems. Once I'm done, I'll be taking pictures of the consoles with the lose carts and post them. I have many games but I know I don't have as many as you!

It really isn't that many just have some boxes which makes it look big.

Hope to see more collections soon!! Till then I added more -

Looks like plenty to me! Have you done an inventory? Do you know excactly how many you have?

No not an exact count. I really need to inventory. I would post a picture then find games I left out like more Saturn and Sega CD's.

I'm doing the inventory mainly for insurance purposes but also to check for duplicates. Hurricane season is here and it is always smart to have an inventory of items and pictures as evidence for insurance. Some of the games that I have are real investments and there is a lot of money involved. An insurance company will not pay me the price of a collectible game unless I have evidence I had it and evidence of what was paid for it (or some form of valuation).

Have you asked your agent about a game insurance rider on your renter's/homeowner's policy? I asked mine, and he basically said I would need a detailed itemized list. My collection is so large and continually growing, so I did not bother.

Not yet. I'm getting all this stuff done for that purpose.

The cassette holder idea that sloan mentioned sure helped keep the loose games together.

Thanks for sharing all these great pics of your collection! I find it inspiring to see that there are others that have the same interest and draw the same joy from collecting classic systems.

Long time Intellivision fan but like to talk about all the systems.

So I really enjoy seeing other collections and listening to the stories about those the collections.

Thanks for sharing your comments about inventories and how useful they can be for multiple purposes. I started my inventory in excel and I keep it updated. Of course when I started it it took some time since there was a lot of data to enter. Basically I have one system per worksheet with the system and games information.

It can certainly take a lot of time! I has taken me some time since I had not done it before but it is helpful. Now I have my collection better organized and I know what I have. Next step is to take photographs which will need to be posted in the cloud for safekeeping.

Honestly, not right now. I think I have enough systems to satisfy my gaming needs. Besides, there is the issue of space to consider. I'll likely keep getting homebrews for the systems I do have.
