Yeah, it isn't available right now. I have a feeling it become available later this year again. But I could be wrong.

I contacted David and he told me that it is, so I ordered it.

I saw the youtube video of robots, but did not grasp the concept. You stand there and the enemies appear to kill themselves by running into x's. Can you shoot at the enemies ala Robotron 2084?

Robots is something I wrote in 2003, and it's a port of something available for a number of old platforms. It's the generic name for Daleks. In 2004, I combined it into Samegame just after finishing the FUBAR prototype. Samegame & Robots was originally released in 2005.

As for the gameplay, it's turn-based, and you have to manipulate the robots to collide with each other. You do get limited uses of a weapon to kill all the robots next to you. There's also that silly bomb, which was a feature I think David Harley added in. My prototype was way too hard, and he scaled down the difficulty quite a bit.
